Nondito Noroke by Humayun Ahmed / নন্দিত নরকে - হুমায়ূন আহমেদ

Book introduction:
===============

In the second issue of the first year of the monthly front page, I was fascinated by the name of the story, 'Happy Hell'. Because in that name a new vision of life, a new taste, a new sky of consciousness was peeking out. The author, of course, was completely unfamiliar to me. Yet I began to read the fascination of that name.

I was overwhelmed. In the story, I have seen in amazement the hands of a keen artist, a skilled creator. A skilled artist in the field of Bengali literature. I felt the birth of a skilled sculptor, a wise drastra.

The intricate biography of the diverse nature and instincts in the everydayness and triviality of life, with its sweetness, its richness, its majesty, its ugliness, its weakness, deprivation and embarrassment, the pain of its emptiness and its blissful dreams, continues to flourish in its youth and variety. I am fascinated and amazed to see that I have been able to hold it in my mind.

The author also has the realization that the overall nature of life is embedded in diverse material and multifaceted human relationships. So in the small range of the story there is a crowd of many people, a multitude of electric lights and fragmentary images. The author has bestowed a balance of unity through a multifaceted but incoherent and varied plot of seemingly intimate domestic life. His skill lies in that craft. Assurance of love and compassion is the only thing in a troubled life.

Humayun Ahmed is young in age, old-fashioned in mind, life-loving in temperament, handsome in nature, skilled in qualification. He will be a prominent life artist in the future - I will wait with this belief and expectation.
